E-Dry is committed to ensuring both our staff and customers’ health is protected during the Coronavirus crisis
We are taking extra measures to safeguard your wellbeing during this difficult time.
Our Strategy
We are minimising the spread of the virus by:
1.
E-Dry technicians carry hand sanitisers or liquid soap to ensure they are sanitising their hands during and between every service
2.
Any team members with cold of flu-like symptoms are being asked to stay at home until they have been cleared by a medical professional.
3.
We are now asking all customers at the time of booking if they have travelled outside Australia in the last 14 days or if they have been in contact with anyone with Coronavirus. For those returning from overseas, please wait 14 days before booking your E-Dry service. If you have been exposed to someone with Coronavirus, please postpone your booking until cleared by a medical professional or after your self-isolation period.

ENGINEERED WOOD FLOORS
These types of floors can only be sanded once in their lifetime, making a refinish service an ideal alternative. Engineered wood floors have 2-3mm of wood on top of MDF (medium density fibreboard) flooring.

HARDWOOD FLOORS
Durable hardwood floors will last a lifetime if correctly looked after. Hardwood floors can usually be sanded between 3 and 5 times in their life depending to type of wood and construction of the board.

BAMBOO FLOORS
These are floorboards constructed from bamboo, glues and resins. While the coating is very durable, it can show signs of significant wear after 8-10 years. Manufacturers recommended that bamboo floors not be sanded as the bamboo fibres may become fuzzy when sanded, ruining the finish.
